Year 4 have been using clay during their art lesson this week. First they had to decide whether they were going to create a wreath or a plaque. They learnt many skills including rolling, plaiting and cutting using stencils. They decorated with holly, berries, trees and stars. The clay will need to dry for a week before firing in the kiln. The children will then glaze their pottery before a final firing. We can’t wait to see how they turn out!
