Miss Barnard had a tough job this week! Year 3 used their persuasive writing skills to try and convince her to have a school pet. The children used a range of tactics; from reminding Miss Barnard of her childhood and growing up with lots of animals, the benefits of animal therapy, and the opportunity to teach the children about responsibility. In the end, Miss Barnard couldn’t decide between a school horse, lizard, or shark! The pupils were very persuasive!
