World Book Day is one of the highlights of our year! We love the annual celebration of authors, illustrators, books and the joy of reading.
World Book Day was celebrated a little differently this year, as with most children across still being schooled remotely, the majority of pupils were not in school on the day. Children were still encouraged to celebrate the wonder of reading by dressing up as their favourite characters – with the teachers taking part in the fun too!
The theme for their pictures was ‘Extreme Places to Read!’
