The children have been very busy with lots of different types of learning in Reception. The children made beautiful Mothers’ Day cards with hand painting, which came out brilliantly. They have been working together as a group to work on their sentence structure and have also been looking at the days of the week. The children worked in teams to put the days into the correct order.
We were lucky enough to have the chicks come and visit us for a day. The children loved having the chicks in the classroom. Some children read stories to them and they enjoyed holding them too. You will see some other pictures of the children enjoying a music lesson, practicing their number formation and letter formation.
