Reception Marks completed this display on Earth Day – 22nd April, 2021. They discussed what a plant is and that we live on a planet called Earth. They talked about how they could make the Earth a cleaner place. All the children knew that we put rubbish in the bin. They then walked around the school and saw that there were different coloured bins and that you put different things into those bins. They also touched on the subject of recycling.
Miss Marks was delighted at how knowledgeable her children were on the subject of recycling. They pledged as a class to always put rubbish into the correct bins and that they were going to try to recycle old toys and not waste paper. Well done Reception, you’re helping the environment one piece of rubbish at a time!
