Y1 Daly have been making 3d rockpools this week. They looked at videos and images of rockpools as a starting point. We discussed which creatures may use a rockpool as their habitat – crabs, small fish, sea anemones and limpets , and also what would grow in salty water to feed these sea creatures.
We also read a lovely story called ‘Sally and the Limpet’ by Simon James as our inspiration. In the story a limpet gets stuck on Sally’s finger! All is resolved in a happy ending .
