The children in Year 4 had a fantastic Anglo-Saxon workshop today lead by Catherine Hammond from the Waltham Abbey District Museum. The children were able to handle replicas from the museum and discuss in groups what they revealed about life in the past. Catherine was very impressed with the children’s knowledge and the questions they asked to develop their understanding.
