Year 6 Memories – Outdoor Events & Clubs

NOW – Above is us enjoying pond dipping in science club.  Through-out our time at Coopersale Hall School we have been offered a wide, rich and varied number of events and clubs in which we can participate.  There have been occasions when we have been lucky enough to represent Coopersale Hall School either within the Oak Tree Group or in competitions against other schools.

THEN – This is Jaspreet and Stanley representing Coopersale at the Maths Challenge between all the schools within the Oak Tree Group.

Jaspreet: We were happy to be involved with this event.  It was lovely and unexpected that we won.

Ahad: I participated in the Spelling Bee at the Oak Tree Challenge when I was in Year 4 – I was pretty nervous but happy with my spellings.

There are so many clubs at the school to enjoy.

Ben: This is Jack and me at Tennis Club.  I think I am rather good at tennis as I have been doing this club since Year 4.  I enjoy my sports and staying active.  I think I might be a sports trainer when I get older.  I think I will always do sports because, for me, it is an important thing to do.

Jaspreet:  These pictures show so much of then—we were in Year 5 having fun canoeing at Harlow Outdoor Pursuits.  We really enjoyed the day, the sun was shining and we were having fun on the water.  This is us all now, friends enjoying each other, playing around and being silly in our break-times – just as friends do.

We were very proud to be a part of the Remembrance Sunday Parade when we were in Year 3.

Scarlett: I remember being really nervous but as soon as it started, I loved it.  Nancy and I stayed together the whole time.

The Head Boy Mateus, with Deputy Stanley, The Head Girl Jaspreet, with Deputy, Sorrel being photographed with our school Remembrance Display at School – the last time we will be remembering this time together at this school.

The whole school had joined together to create poppies both red and purple for our display.

We have visited the old peoples home, Pelly Court in Epping.  We took them the Harvest Festival offerings that the whole school donated towards.  We also spent time singing to the residents.

Scarlett: I think this is a really kind thing to do.  I hope they enjoyed us being there as much as we did.

We  had a great time at the gymnastic club at school because it was really enjoyable mixing with the different year groups and making new friends.

Maria:  I liked being in the team, but I wasn’t really flexible!
