This half term in Science club yr6 have been exploring how different natural materials burn. They have collected various wood samples from around the school grounds and built and lit a small fire. Once lit the pupils then enjoyed toasting marshmallows. Finally the pupil discussed various ways of putting out a fire and then safely extinguished the flames.
