Year 5 have started learning about Roman Numerals in their maths lessons this year. The children are exploring lots of different methods of learning, such as group discussion, work sheets and even playing “Roman Numerals Connect-Four” which everyone really enjoyed.
During the group discussions, pupils considered how and why these numbers are still used today and whether they think this is a good idea. There were lots of interesting views and opinions and it was a pleasure to see the whole class engaged in their learning.
