ISA Swimming Success

Jessica and Francesca in Year 6 tell us about their recent achievements at the ISA Swimming Gala:

“Arriving at school for an early departure on Friday 18th November, Years 4, 5 and 6 boarded the minibus for an action-packed day at the ISA Swimming Gala, held at Southbury Road Leisure Centre.

The squad members were;

– Year 4: Arty (4H), India (4H), Xander, (4H) and Iman (4G).

– Year 5: Elena (5G), Gregor (5G), Poppy (5N) and Tommy (5N).

– Year 6: Francesca (6B), Alexander (6B), Jessica (6B) and Maxwell (6Z).

Each race was 50 meters and we all swam to the best of our ability.  India in 4H won a medal for her fantastic front crawl.   We all had a great competitive day.”

We were pleased to later find out that India has been chosen to represent Coopersale Hall in the ISA London North Swimming team on Saturday 3rd December at the Olympic Pool in Stratford. India will be taking part in the Year 4 girls front crawl relay team (50m) along with three other children from schools within the region.

We’re very proud of all of our pupils for putting so much effort and hard work into all of their sporting events, and we wish India lots of luck for when she takes to the pool once again!
