The children in Reception enjoyed their school trip to The Hive in Epping Forest on Friday 25th of November. It was a beautiful sunny autumn morning. The group leaders at The Hive lead the children on a walk through the forest, to splash in the stream, find minibeasts with magnifying pots and identify them. The children also enjoyed making patterns using leaves and walking through the forest. The children were delighted to experience holding a variety of creatures and insects, such as the salamander, hissing cockroach, giant snail, stick insect and snake.
