A Very Festive Friday Celebration Assembly

What is Christmas without a children’s performance of the Nativity?

The whole school was treated to a dress rehearsal performance of the KS1 Nativity during last week’s Friday Celebration assembly.

Miss Crick commenced with telling us all who were the winners of the Book Mark Competition; Jessica in 6B, Maddox in 1H, Ivy in 1H, Grace in 1C and Elliot in RS.  Each child was awarded with a £5.00 book voucher to enjoy at the Book Fair.  A huge well done to everyone who entered.  It was very difficult to choose just 5 winners from all of the festive and fun winter designs.

The Christmas Writing Competition winners were also announced.  A huge well done to all 8 winners, your Santa’s letters were superb! They were heart felt, considerate, creative and well written.  We hope all your Christmas wishes come true!

The FOSCH Concert Raffle was also drawn and we congratulate the families that have be selected to enjoy the Christmas Nativity from the front row.  Ethen in RG and Ava in UKC were winners of the special Christmas Lunch to enjoy with their family on Wednesday 7th December.

We also took this opportunity of giving Mrs Greig, our piano teacher, a leaving present for all the time that she has spent at the school teaching children how to play.  She said she felt it had been a privilege to teach so many lovely children and she wished all the children good fortune in the future.

The school settled down to watch a fantastic performance from KS1, applauding the singing, dancing and this magical Christmas Nativity.
