The Mayor of Epping was welcomed into our special final assembly of this year to present the winners of the Christmas card competition. with a gift and certificate to congratulate them on their success.
Woolfe in 2V was the overall winner and his card will be sent out by the Mayor this year! Florence in 5G came second in the competition. They were both thrilled and delighted to receive a gift and certificate to congratulate them on their success whilst the whole school applaud this wonderful achievement.
The choir then took to the stage and gave the school a wonderful rendition of Rocking Around The Christmas Tree – which made everyone smile and sing along with the chorus.
Miss Barnard enlisted the support of the Mayor to hand out their House Point certificates against each year group. Merit, Bucket Fillers and Scientist of the Week certificates were also handed out to the pupils.
The assembly was brought to a close with Florence and Delilah in 6Z signing to We Wish you a Merry Christmas, which they had been learning with Miss Smith.
