Year 4 Put Their Geography Knowledge To The Test At Cobbins Brook

Year 4 put on their wellies and winter coats for the short walk to Cobbins Brook on Flux’s Lane, for a morning of geographical discoveries.

They were able to use their senses to explore the area, gather natural resources such as ice and bark and created leaf rubbings with their finds.

The children used their geography knowledge to evaluate the river, and its many features and discuss the many different human and physical aspects based around the river.

Even though the January weather made the skies a bit grey, it certainly didn’t dampen Year 4s spirits!
