The Big Litter Pick

On Friday 3 February, the Reception children, with the help of the Eco Council, set to work litter picking around the school site.

The children in Reception have been learning about Energy Saving Week, and decided to put some of what they have learned into action, and give the school a tidy.  Amelia, the Head of the Eco Council, led the way with help from the other EYFS/ KS1 & KS2 Eco Council members. They supported the children to find and collect litter on the school grounds and fields, to protect the local wildlife.

We were lucky with the weather and the children were very excited and keen to do the litter picking. We had lots of fun.

A big thank you to our Eco Council for coming along to help: Leila, Camille, Oliver, Kenzo, Olive, Hudson, Simran, Jack, Sofia and Amelia.
