Yesterday, Coopersale Hall were host to the annual State School Cross Country Races. The sun was shining on the field, which was full of very excited young runners from the surrounding area.
The afternoon ran smoothly, with all schools competing against each other in a series of races. It was lovely to see our pupils cheering each other on and making new friends.
After the event, we received a lovely email from a parent from one of the local schools that attended the event.

I’ve just returned from a super inter school Cross Country, organised by you in glorious sunshine.
It was a wonderful event and I would like to thank all involved – the PE Master, the grounds team and of course the fabulous commentator.
You guys were great hosts and everyone (kids, teaching staff and spectators) enjoyed the afternoon.”
We are looking forward to hosting again next year!
