The Year 6 children enjoyed a morning at the William Morris Gallery in Walthamstow. They learned a lot of new information about William Morris and were given a guided tour of the exhibits, before completing some sketches of their own.
The children were also involved in a printing workshop with a local artist. She explained the techniques used by William Morris and then the children had a turn themselves. The finished pieces look great!
