Year 5 created beautiful ceramic Tudor houses after learning about the Tudors during their topic work this term. The children took the elements of the original buildings, such as the wooden beams and thatched roofs, to make their houses fit in with the Tudor style. Once fired in the kiln they painted the houses, adding details like flowers growing around the door and lead on the windows.
These beautiful ceramics will be showcased in the library next term so that the whole school can see them.
