The school gathered together for our final assembly of this term. Everyone was excited to be drawing out the winning tickets for the Easter raffle. Thank you FOCSH for creating such lovely Easter baskets – and congratulations to all the winners!
Year 3 were delighted to take to the stage and play “5 Jive” on the recorder. It was wonderful to hear the children play so well together.
The children in KS1 were delighted to come to the front of the hall to receive their 100% attendance certificates. Year 4 then took to the stage to play a wonderful rendition of “The Ebgb” on the ukulele for the school to enjoy.
KS2 children who received their 100% attendance certificates were called to the stage to receive their certificates and be applauded by the school.
To everyone’s delight, the Year 5 & 6 children gave a sneak preview of a song from the end of term production – “The Pirates of the Sea.” The children enjoyed singing this impromptu performance and the younger children were delighted to hear such a passionate rendition of the song.
There were so many more certificates to be awarded, with the House Certificates and Science Certificates being given out by teachers in their classes.
The assembly drew to a close with everyone wishing each other a happy and healthy Easter break and singing “Give It All You Have Got”, the Coopersale Hall rap, that was performed with great gusto by all!
