Year 4 crafted their own 3D Roald Dahl Inspired art pieces using a variety of materials such as cardboard, paper mâché, clay and paints. The children thoroughly enjoyed making their pieces and were inspired by their favourite Roald Dahl character or scene. We have had pieces from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Fantastic Mr Fox, James and the Giant Peach and much more! The children made such a huge effort and were so proud to show off their art to their peers.
Oliver made his 3D character as a crocodile – based on “The Enormous Crocodile”. He got his inspiration from watching The Great British Menu on TV.
Maria used “James and the Giant Peach” as her inspiration and she made all the animals with her Hama beads.
All these creations have been displayed in the library for everyone to enjoy.
