Year 1 had a wonderful sunny trip to Southend as part of their Seaside topic.
They saw lots of wonderful sea creatures at the Sealife Centre, including fish, seahorses, and even penguins! The children then spent time on the beach finding shells, there were so many different shapes and patterns, it was hard to choose a favourite. They even found some crabs on the beach, which they enjoyed watching scuttle along the sand.
Henry especially loved the sharks in the shark tunnel and Heidi liked the baby lobsters. Beau made a wonderful shell sandcastle.
It was a lovely day out in the sunshine!
