Thursday 18th May saw number 4 in our summer series. This was a special concert because we were lucky enough to have our singing teacher Mrs Hadyipanayi join us. Mrs Hadyipanayi has been working very hard with her students and we were treated to an excellent afternoon of singing. We had songs from lots of genres, including 80s pop! The pupils really engaged their audience with the catchy melodies and great presentation.
Margaux provided us with a beautiful piano solo in between the songs. Her older sister Florence also played piano, performing the difficult “Morning” from the Peer Gynt suite with great skill, style and sensitivity.
The concert ended with all of the singers performing a fantastic version of “Reach for the Stars”, a great hit with the audience. Still more to come in our Summer Series, a great opportunity for all our talented pupils to shine.
