Following on from the chicks that hatched earlier this term, the butterflies have finally emerged and we took them out into the sunshine to release them so that they could fly away. The butterflies were incredibly friendly and did not want to leave, the children were very pleased that some even stayed on their hands to say goodbye. The children will be looking out to see if any of the butterflies reach their gardens at home.
