A Message From Our New Head of Seniors

“I am extremely honoured to be joining Coopersale Hall School at this exciting point in its development. The inclusion of the Seniors has been a long-term ambition for the school and will now allow pupils to stay with us from the age of 3 to 16 years old.

As Head of Seniors, I look forward to upholding the school’s reputation for academic and pastoral excellence. I bring to this position 22 years of teaching experience within a variety of school settings in Northern Ireland and England. For the majority of that time I have worked within the Epping Forest community so I know the area and the people well. I am first and foremost a Religious Studies teacher, but throughout my career I have also taught English, Geography, History and PSHE. I have held a range of leadership responsibilities including Head of 6th Form, Head of Subject and Lead Practitioner. Most recently my role as an Assistant Head Teacher saw me lead on staff development, PSHE/RSE across the curriculum and whole school teaching and learning.

My vision for the Seniors here at Coopersale Hall is ‘journeying together towards success.’ I strongly believe that it takes a strong home-school partnership to bring out the very best in a child; to nurture their talent, to encourage them to be the best version of themselves that they can and to praise them for each small step towards their goals. I very much look forward to meeting you all in the coming weeks and building positive relationships with our pupils, parents and carers.”
