The Reception Children enjoyed taking part in their Assembly about Bee’s. The Assembly was based on the story ‘Betsy Buglove Saves the Bee’s’. The story is about a little girl called Betsy. Her Grandmother gave her a magical magnifying glass for her birthday which allowed her to hear different animals talk. She was trying to convince her next door neighbour Stan to protect his garden to save some of the bees. Betsy and Stan went to listen to the bees to find out why they were so important.
The children enjoyed singing some songs about bee’s and learning interesting facts about them too. They did a wonderful job remembering their lines and performing to the rest of the school with confidence.
