Delilah in 6Z was delighted to share with Mr Barham her success from her recent gymnastic competition. She travelled to Peterborough to take part in the “Spiral Rocks” event.
Delilah said “I was so pleased as when I was doing my practice before the main event, I could not do any of my pieces without falling off! However, when it was the actual competition, I was able to hold my straddle and cartwheel perfectly. I was the only person to do this. I was so proud to get my medal.”
Mr Barham was really impressed by the commitment and perseverance that Delilah has put into her gymnastics, especially considering how thin the beam is. He was delighted to award her 20 house points.
