Year 3 were so lucky to be visited by Chartwell. We were led through a workshop all about positive mental health. We practised breathing methods and discussed fears, anxieties and worries. We discussed how we could overcome these feelings to best look after our mental health. Chartwell made it clear to us that food health can positively impact our mental health. We had the opportunity to make our own healthy porridge bowl to learn that we can be independent and healthy, even in year 3!
The children enjoyed being independent, mixing and choosing fruit for their healthy porridge bowls. They certainly enjoyed eating their creations at the end of their session! Thank you Chartwell for thinking of us and guiding us to always be healthy!
