Mr Barham was delighted to be shown the medals that Abigail in 4G achieved whilst she was skiing. Abigail told us that the “Cristal” medal was won because she had been skiing the blue runs. The lessons that she took also involved learning to skid and jump.
When and where did you receive the “Cristal” medal?
We recently went skiing to La Clusaz in the French Alps. We return to this place as we are lucky to have many friends here and we really enjoy the skiing lessons that we have.
How long have you been skiing?
I have been skiing from the age of 2. I think that I will be doing this all my life, it is a great skill to have. We go skiing as often as we can as a family and it is a nice thing that we do.
Do you do any other sports whilst away?
I enjoy going ice skating. I am also going to be going sledging this weekend with my family and then when we are away I think we can do this also. It is a lovely way to improve all my skills.
