Year 4 have been learning about rivers so we went to look at Cobbins Brook at the bottom of the lane near our school. We noticed how clear the water was in some parts and how fast the stream flowed in places. We also noticed how the brook meandered and became deeper. It was interesting to see the wildlife such as birds and squirrels surrounding the banks and along the length of the brook. We were also lucky enough to witness a horse rider walking along the bottom of the lane by the brook!
