As part of their Famous Inventors topic, Year 2 have enjoyed learning about the Wright Brothers who made the world’s first successful aeroplane flight in 1903.
After they had learned some interesting facts, they carefully followed instructions to make paper aeroplanes. We flew them in the playground and Max and Olivia’s planes travelled the greatest distance!
The children are so grateful to the Wright brothers, without them, they wouldn’t be able to fly around the world on their lovely half term holidays!
