World Book Day was a roaring success. The children dressed up as their favourite story book character. We have seen costumes of characters from Wizard Of Oz, Harry Potter, Gangster Granny, Willy Wonka, several Disney princesses, ninja turtles, characters from Alice in Wonderland and many more! All of the children took joy in sharing why they chose their character to be for the day. We have all spent the day celebrating reading through book mark designing, quizzes about our favourite and most famous books and so on! Each child received a £1 book token which can be spent in most local stores before March 31st 2024. A huge thank you to everyone who put the effort in today – staff and children – to make our World Book Day so special. We look forward to next year!
