On Wednesday 13th March 2024, Coopersale Hall School hosted a cross country competition. We were racing against the other Oak-Tree schools plus St Aubyn’s and Avon House. It was a dry day but very muddy, which made it more exciting.
In the first race the Year 3/4 girls came 3rd, their team consisted of Reeva, Valentina, Jessica and Abigail. The Year 3/4 boys came 2nd in their race and their team was Jesse, Teddy, Arlo and Barnaby. Year 5/6 girls raced next and they also came 3rd; the team was Sophie, Poppy, Emilia and Florence. The Year 5/6 boys came 2nd and their team included Henry, Oscar, Richard and Gregor. The spectators were all very supportive and cheered us round the course.
We all really enjoyed the afternoon and were all proud to receive a medal. Thank you to Mr. Barham for organising it.
