Thursday 2nd May Year 4 travelled to Great Missenden to visit the Roald Dahl museum.
When the children arrived they completed the village trail which included landmarks and inspiration from his stories such as the library from Matilda and the petrol pumps from Danny the Champion of the World.
Pupils also walked a short distance up to the church where Roald Dahl is buried and viewed his memorial. The children enjoyed visiting the gift shop and choosing their items within their budget!
Everyone really enjoyed the workshop in the gallery, looking at artefacts from Roald Dahl’s life and creating their own characters using a range of stimuli and mediums. The children were very well behaved and thoroughly enjoyed the trip! Well done Year 4!
