Our Reception class recently embarked on an exciting trip to the Field Studies Centre at Epping Forest, where they experienced adventure and discovery in the great outdoors.
The children had a fantastic time walking through the forest, with the fresh air and towering trees.They embarked on a mini beast hunt, eagerly searching under rocks and leaves to find a variety of insects and tiny creatures. It was a delightful opportunity to learn about the different types of bugs that call the forest home.
Reception gathered natural ingredients like leaves, petals, and twigs to create their own unique fairy potions, sparking their imaginations and encouraging creativity.
Overall, the trip to Epping Forest was a huge success, filled with laughter, learning, and a deeper appreciation for nature. We can’t wait for our next adventure!
