4B and 4G held their class assembly on Thursday 27th June. The children have been interested in the Euro 2024 tournament currently taking place so we decided our assembly would be an opening ceremony. Each child represented a country taking part, making their flag, dressing in the flag colours and completing research about their country. We have all learnt a lot about all of the 24 nations taking part and how the tournament works. The children sang ‘World in Motion’ and, ‘Best Years of Our Lives’. We also had interviews from the women’s manager and an interesting perspective from some commentators! The children are most excited to see if Felicity’s dog, Daisy has predicted the correct result for the winner of the tournament! The children have all worked so hard researching, practising and learning words. We are very proud of their efforts.
