On Wednesday 2nd of October years 5 and 6 took part in a friendly tag rugby event at Howe Green School. The year 6 sports captain have written a report on this event:
Emilia
There were 2 teams from each school at the tag rugby tournament. We enjoyed warming up all together with Mr. Barham and we felt ready for our first match against Oaklands which we lost 4 – 6. We drew against our match with Howe Green at 9 – 9.

Arty
The latter years of the school participated in a friendly tournament at Howe Green School where we competed against Oaklands and Howe Green. We narrowly lost our match against Oaklands and drew 11-11 against Howe Green.
A big thank you to Mr. Barham for organizing such an enjoyable event, and to Mrs. Boultwood for motivating us throughout the games.
Mr. Barham was delighted with how well each team worked and communicated with each other. It was lovely to see all the children shaking hands with their opponents at the end of their match and thanking the referee. Mr. Barham and Mrs. Boultwood were very proud of how each child represented Coopersale Hall School.
