Ula’s Inspiring Art

Ula, has created a stunning artwork that she will be submitting to the Royal Academy Children’s Art Competition 2025.

As a member of the Eco-Council, she was delighted to reuse an old picture frame, which she painted over in white. She was particularly pleased to repurpose the frame, as she has a strong interest in recycling and considers it a valuable practice.

Ula chose to paint a portrait of her father, an artist whom she deeply admires and loves. She shared that he was a wonderful model, sitting very still while she worked. Using acrylic paint, she brought her masterpiece to life.

Her heartfelt wish is that one day he will paint a portrait of her, as she would love to see how he captures her on canvas.

One of the joys of being an artist is the freedom to create whatever you imagine and the ability to decide when a piece is truly complete.

Ula’s father loved his portrait but jokingly mentioned that he wouldn’t have minded a little more muscle definition in his legs!

Coopersale Hall School wishes Ula the best of luck in the competition, but we are already incredibly proud of her achievement. Very well done, Ula!
