Welcome to

Coopersale Hall School

Walk through the front door at Coopersale Hall School and you will immediately detect something special. The warm welcome is both unique and tangible. Doors are open, children are smiling and adults greet each other. The staff, parents and pupils work together to embrace the wonderful opportunities that are available at the School.

Since it was founded in 1989, Coopersale Hall has flourished and developed to become a thriving and successful school.  We aim to provide a high standard of education for boys and girls from the age of 2½ to 11 in a happy, secure and well-disciplined environment.  All pupils are expected to remain with us until the age of 11, when they leave us fully-prepared for their new senior schools.  We do not prepare pupils for 7+ or 8+ examinations.

Our children are taught in small, well-resourced classes by our dedicated and professional staff,  who aim to encourage each child to realise his/her full potential within a challenging curriculum.  Although emphasis is placed upon the core subjects, we intend to equip the pupils well beyond the basic requirements of the National Curriculum. Traditional academic strengths will always be valued at Coopersale Hall, but pupils will also be taught to appreciate and become involved in a wide variety of expressive and performing subjects such as Art, Music and Sport. Our role is not only to teach but to inspire our children.

I hope that this website will give you an idea of what we have to offer, but there is no substitute for a visit to the School.  I will be delighted to personally welcome all prospective parents to Coopersale Hall so that you can meet our happy (and hardworking!) children and staff and see for yourself all that the School has to offer.

We look forward to including your child in the Coopersale Hall School community.

Miss Kaye Lovejoy
Headmistress
