United World Schools – The Gift of Reading Competition

In October 2017, the children in Years 4 and 5 took part in the United World Schools Gift of Reading Storybook Competition. Children were asked to write and illustrate a story about an animal for primary school aged children in Cambodia, Myanmar and Nepal.

We are delighted that Louis Thornton and Charlie Ward were awarded joint third place.

Susanna Worth of UWS said:

“Thank you so much to everyone who entered our Gift of Reading Storybook Competition. We were incredibly impressed by the creativity of all the submissions and would like to say a special thank you to each and every one of the schools who participated.”
