Year 4 have been studying the Romans. This week, they have looked at various mosaics which show pictures of Roman history and everyday Roman life. These mosaic images provide an insight into what Roman life was like and how they lived. Mosaic floors were a sign of wealth and importance. Using small and colourful tiles, they have had a try at making their own mosaics. They first made a plan on a piece of paper. Once pupils were happy with the designs, they glued each tile carefully into the correct position. They look fantastic!
